The three main things you need to know about me are that I’m a karaoke, fashion, and chisme enthusiast. Other fun facts: I have no relation to Wilmer but if you know about football, I'm also not related to El Pibe. and believe it or not I was not named after the drink. Or the pizza.

I once was told my plays, and their stage directions, have “a lot of tone” (in a good way!). I have a flair for the dramatic, and I’m interested in how genre enhances a story. My scripts are full of witty banter, pop culture references and relatable relationships, typically centered on female, Latinx, and Queer characters that I like to describe as vulnerable, miserable, toxic and funny (try saying that three times fast at a cocktail party!).

I’m driven to create nuanced, intersectional representations of the communities I belong to. I focus on the joy my culture brings me and on showcasing characters whose struggles and dreams go beyond what some audiences imagine when they hear the word “immigrant” or “Queer”.

When I’m away from my laptop, I’m either baking croissants, trying and failing to beat my dad at tennis, or laughing in an improv class.
